Seeing Bill Murphy's post on 5/28/12 where he says "...this is how I got started in 1997..." it is noteworthy that he is listed as a "Member since July 2007".

I have complained about this before.

July 2007 was when the Chat Room was reorganized in some fashion, and ever since that change, Webmasters have claimed the inability to correct the mis-information.

Why can't you research when a member, like me, ACTUALLY joined the Cafe?

Don't you have financial records?  Are they not accessible to the webmaster?

Otherwise, why bother listing this "information" at all?

In my own financial records, i can document uninterrupted membership dues payments back to February 17, 2002.

I think that Bill means that he got started on other chat boards since LeMetropole Cafe was started in 1999.

I cannot recall this issue coming up before but if it is important to most users I can create a query that will update everyone's "Member Since" dates to their first subscribe date.

Further input from others please...
