Canada's government will be prorogued until Oct (http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/08/19/harper-to-prorogue-parliament-until-october-says-hell-lead-tories-in-2015-election/). This makes this fall a dangerous time for citizen's. It seems timed very suspiciously for the risk of a market/financial crash during this time is high. Is the legislative slate being cleared for an October "throne speech" and fast legislative enactment that will bring suppression to Canada?: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legislative_session: While a parliament is prorogued, between two legislative sessions, the legislature is still constituted – i.e. no general election takes place and all Members of Parliament thus retain their seats. In many legislatures, prorogation causes all orders of the body – bills, motions, etc. – to be expunged.[1] Prorogations should thus not be confused with recesses, adjournments, or holiday breaks from legislation, after which bills can resume exactly where they left off. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prorogation_in_Canada: Prorogation is a necessary action, including in "situations where governments need to stop and refocus."... ..."A parliamentary session lasts until a prorogation, after which, without ceremony, one or both chambers of the legislature cease all legislative business until the governor general or lieutenant governor issues a proclamation calling for a new session to begin. http://www.citynews.ca/2008/12/03/what-does-proroguing-parliament-mean/: Proroguing Parliament is a lot like rebooting your computer after you’ve finished working. You’re essentially starting with a clean slate uncomplicated by all the programs you may have been into before you hit that restart command. ...any unpassed bills or motions – like the controversial economic statement that started this mess – will be non-existent. We now know the date. Canada's government will be prorogued until Oct 16.
